The Council of the Township of Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls, at its regular meeting November 18, 2008, adopted the Official Plan under Section 17 of the Planning Act, as amended.  Click Here to read the notice of passing.

The new Official Plan provides planning policy framework for decision making by Council, its Committees and other public bodies. It also provides a guide to the public and business community regarding the future growth of the municipality.

After an extensive public consultation period, the council approved version of the new Official Plan has been forwarded to the Provincial Government (final approval of the Official Plan rests with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing).
