The Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls 50+ Activity Centre, a non-profit organization, operates out of The Joe Douglas Meeting Place, located at 5655 Hwy 71 in Sioux Narrows, Ontario. Funded jointly by provincial and municipal governments, member contributions, and fundraising projects, the Centre provides a space for adults to learn new skills, stay active, and connect with the community.

About the Centre

The centre opened on July 18, 1991 and was originally known as the Sunrise Echoes Seniors Club. Recently its name was updated to the 50+ Activity Centre.

Membership

  • Open to all persons 50 years of age and over
