- Bridge & Falls Studios and Residencies -

In all four seasons, northwestern Ontario is one of the most beautiful and geographically interesting places on earth. The perfect place for any creative person to get inspired, the rural and remote Township of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls is hosting a programme of week-long SELF-GUIDED residencies in the summer of 2017 for artists and idea professionals of different disciplines. We invite you to explore how "Arts and Culture" interfaces with the streetscape in Sioux Narrows this summer. So, if you are in the area in July & August - you just might find a wondering artist, around town!

Bridge & Falls Creative Residency: A Culture, A Tribe, A Community

Summer Series, 2017

DAY USE STUDIOS
For the summer of 2017, two tiny studios will be in use. They are both for day-use only. Both tiny studios are equipped with a workspace and modest furnishings. The tiny studios do not have plumbing facilities.

ON THE WATER
ON THE WATER is tiny studio on a floating platform and can be accessed by a stationary dock. The floating studio is intended to connect the user to water, one of the four elements of nature. It is constructed to allow the user to freely relate to the outdoors. It is ideally situated in Long Bay on Lake of the Woods, by White Moose Golf Course, north of Sioux Narrows, Ontario, Canada.

ON THE ROCK
A hill at the trailhead of the Boreal Trail, just south of Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada – this is where ON THE ROCK will sit. Three significant aspects of the structure are: work, view and socialize. The tiny studio connects the user to the site’s culture and vice versa.
