Just in time for 'the best time to go hiking', there are new attractions to the trailheads!
This image is from a new installation on Aspen Trail, Sioux Narrows.
Boreal Trail in Nestor Falls will have the next one installed, but for Red Pine Trail, we will wait until a later date when its new trailhead is installed before installing the boot brush station.
These boot brush stations help minimize cross-contamination from other hiking areas or even from your property. Trail lovers from around the region and world can easily spread seeds and inadvertently spread invasive species. Besides that, these brushes help remove dirt, debris, and mud that can create extra abrasion and lower the lifespan of your shoes. So, get out there and take a hike.
