Trail Volunteer Committee

The trails in Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls are more than just dirt paths winding through the woods. They’re places of adventure, reflection, and connection—where every sunrise over the lake and every well-placed bench adds to the experience. But these trails don’t maintain themselves. Behind every cleared pathway, every updated map, and every scenic rest stop, there’s a group of dedicated volunteers making it happen.
Now, we’re inviting you to be part of that team! The Trail Volunteer Committee is looking for new members to help keep our trail system thriving. Whether it’s reporting issues, removing debris, improving online trail information, assisting with maintenance, or lending a hand during events, there are plenty of ways to get involved. The best part? You can do as much or as little as you like—there’s no commitment beyond what works for you.
By joining the committee, you’re not just pitching in—you’re helping shape the outdoor experience for everyone. Well-maintained trails attract visitors, boost local tourism, and make the area enjoyable for hikers, and bikers of all skill levels. Your efforts make a difference, whether big or small.
A huge thank you to our current volunteers—your dedication makes so much possible, and we appreciate all you do! I'll make a post highlighting everything so far next month.
