PETS

Pets are NOT allowed at the Festival site. This was a difficult decision to make and it is not easy to say good-bye to our fur friends. We hope that our patrons understand. We are sad too!

Where to Park

We ask all able-bodied people to park in the lot beside the maintenance yard at Caliper Lake Provincial Park. Volunteer Gator drivers go back and forth during the festival—bringing people to and from the parking lot to the festival site. The walk from the maintenance yard to the festival site is not too long and we promise there are no big hills to traverse. The patience and support of all crafters, musicians, and patrons is greatly appreciated. We encourage all festival-goers to wear comfortable, sensible footwear.

The parking lot adjacent to the festival site is reserved for people with disabilities, security, festival volunteers and staff, and emergency vehicles. This parking lot is also used for loading/offloading during the Moose n' Fiddle Festival.

Festival Camping & Accommodation

Festival goers may choose to camp at one of our beautiful provincial parks or stay in hotel and B&B accommodations nearby.

Caliper Lake Provincial Park

For those who want to be in the middle of the action, we recommend booking a campsite at Caliper Lake Park. Check out the festival or take a walk among Caliper’s towering old-growth red and white pine trees. The park offers around 100 drive-in campsites. RVs welcome.

Sioux Narrows Provincial Park

Nestled in Regina Bay is a little, hidden gem—beautiful Sioux Narrows Provincial Park. It is picturesque and peaceful. Sioux Narrows Provincial Park is ideal for the lake lover: boating, swimming, sailing, and world-class fishing await. The park offers walk-in, drive-in, and group campsites. RVs welcome.

Both parks offer welcoming day-use areas: sandy beaches for swimming and open green spaces for throwing a frisbee. Amenities include electrical hook-ups, a modern comfort station with showers and flush toilets, as well as playgrounds and a covered pavilion with barbecues.

Hotels, Motels, B&Bs

There are many lodges, resorts, cabins and motels that offer comfortable, cozy and clean amenities—all across the eastern shores of Lake of the Woods. We encourage you to visit the Travel Centre in Nestor Falls or the Northern Ontario Discovery Centre in Sioux Narrows to pick up pamphlets and brochures or to book online. The region is home to a host of accommodations to suit every holiday interest and budget.
