Trail Update: The New Connection Trail is Ready to Explore

There’s something special about being able to leave one trail and discover where it leads next.
We’re excited to share that the Connection Trail linking Bass Lake Park and the Red Pine Trail is now complete and ready for you to explore.
This new section creates a great opportunity for residents and visitors to get outside and explore the natural beauty that makes this area such a unique place to call home. Whether you're heading out for a morning walk, an evening bike ride, a family adventure, or simply looking for a quiet place to enjoy nature, the Connection Trail offers another way to experience our growing trail network.

From towering red pines and rocky Canadian Shield landscapes to peaceful lakeside views, our trails continue to provide opportunities to slow down, reconnect with nature, and appreciate the incredible surroundings we often have right in our own backyard.
One of the things that makes Sioux Narrows–Nestor Falls special is the community's appreciation for the outdoors. Every new trail connection helps create more opportunities for people to experience different parts of our community in a meaningful way. From hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing. Now we are connected to a space that brings you to a multi-functional space.
As always, we encourage trail users to stay on marked routes, respect the natural environment, and help keep our trails clean and welcoming for everyone. If you see a downed tree please send an email to trails@snnf.ca so we can get to it as soon as possible, so your next hike is less of a climb!
So whether you're a regular trail user or you've been looking for a reason to spend a little more time outside, we invite you to lace up your hiking boots, hop on your bike, or sit by the water and give the new Connection Trail a try!
We hope to see you out there, happy trails!
