Small town hospitality with world class service!

Nestor Falls is located along Highway 71 North, midway between Kenora and the border town of Fort Frances. When you visit this scenic Northwestern Ontario community, you will find it no surprise that hospitality and tourism are the main industries. Once a thriving gateway to the historic fur-trading water routes of the voyageurs, this quant community now serves outdoor tourists and adventure seekers. Visitors enjoy our many lakes (Kakagi (Crow) Lake, Kakabikitchiwan Lake, Lake of the Woods, Pinus (Big Pine) Lake, Rowan Lake, and Caliper Lake – to name a few) and all they have to offer. Whether your interests are fishing (a variety of species inhabit our waters), boating, canoeing, swimming, water skiing or paddle boarding, the waters of Nestor Falls offer a great outdoor playground.

The scenic stands of Norway Pine and the clear blue waters of Kakagi (Crow) Lake give home to a diverse group of wildlife, including flocks of white pelicans, loons, ducks, cormorants, bald eagles, deer, moose, and bear. Centered in town are the tumbling waterfalls which gave Nestor Falls its one-of-a-kind name. Just south is Caliper Lake Provincial Park, a great place to relax on the beach for the day or perhaps a long weekend.

In Nestor Falls, we offer the vacationer rest from a busy world. Fish, hunt, browse our unique shops, take a sightseeing trip by air, explore our hiking trails, enjoy local restaurants, or relax at one of our many resorts. Check out our local events, such as the successful Moose N’ Fiddle Music Festival, or play a game of tennis at the tennis courts. Come visit Nestor Falls for an experience you won’t soon forget – small town hospitality combined with world class service!
